Long bio:

Lily and the Wildflowers is a Norwegian indie-folk artist based in Vienna. Her songs feel like letters never sent: poetic, personal and quietly powerful. Performing with guitar, ukulele, and foot percussion, Lily creates an intimate yet full live experience, often including the audience in her songs. On stage, she creates an atmosphere of connection that makes the songs feel more like conversations than performances, taking the audience along for the journey through vivid, understated storytelling. There is a soft-spoken kind of heartbreak woven through her lyrics, but also stories of hope, joy and resilience - carried by the knowledge that every ending holds the seed of a new beginning. Her debut single, “Gathering of Words,” introduced her dreamy folk sound and reflective songwriting, while the upcoming release, “Six Years” (out March 6), explores the emotional complexity of not fully belonging anywhere — a theme that resonates with her life between cultures and places.
